Twenty years of the most beautiful madness.

I can hardly believe it myself. This year marks the twentieth anniversary of my participation in the Tour de France as a photographer. Thankful and a little proud of it! Twenty years means so much time and dedication. Endless hours in traffic jams, countless days of heat, countless hours in the rain, joy and resignation shook hands every day. But in all this time, my curiosity and fascination for this madness has never ended. I tried to broke the tour down into its components with my pictures. These ingredients mean everything to me. The momentum, the people and the sport in all its facets.
